Venus Dressing: How to Attract Your Highest Potential

✨ According to expert astrologists, dressing as your Venus sign can help you embody your highest potential, guiding you into the energy to attract what you desire. So naturally, I tried it. Here’s how it went!

Have you heard about the newest fashion x astrology trend?

It's ALL over my explore pages lately. And I think the astro babes are onto something. I tried it out recently and I just felt magnetic. 

I’m talking about Venus Dressing.

Venus is part of your Big Six planets in your natal chart and she specifically focuses on your relationships, values, and aesthetic. And dressing as your Venus sign holds a divine energy- one of a main character.

So when you're dressing as your Venus, you're showing up that day unlocking some major true potential and attracting your desires.  

I have to say…they are not wrong.

For instance, my Venus is in Leo- THE main character of the zodiac. So what does this mean when it comes to picking out my look for the day? It means I’m reaching for items that are colorful, creative, and bold. 

When I tried this style strategy, it was an office day, so I opted to choose a bold orange marbled sweater that I haven’t worn yet. For those that know myself and V+V, we’re earth toned girlies, so opting for something bright was a good start to getting out of my Sun sign pattern.

Once I chose the orange sweater, the gold jewelry came shortly after. Usually, I opt for minimal jewelry if a piece that I’m wearing is particularly “bold”. That day though- I decided to put it all on- double gold necklaces, large, dangly earrings, bracelets and rings on both hands.

As this point I was channeling a sunset, which is fitting for Leo as it’s ruler is the Sun.

The last touches involved my least favorite things to do, but today seemed like it was going to pull everything together- hair and makeup. My hair was giving Posh Spice and I did my usual barely there makeup but added a bit of lipstick.

Voila! Peak lionness energy.

This energy you see lasted the ENTIRE day. I truly felt like the main character.

I was easeful, not letting anything or anyone bother me, having great conversations and honestly, killing it at work so well that I was complimented on it.

All this from just trying a new piece of clothing that strayed away from my neutral colors, putting in a little more than the usual and being extra.

So I say there's a truth to "If you're feeling good, you're looking good. If you're looking good, you're feeling good." Because honestly, that’s a true Venusian mindset.

I believe that shaking up your style once in awhile really attracts a good day. Venus dressing is no exception. Most days we dress like our Sun signs, but a few days a week- try Venus on for size. Watch the difference in how you move, take action and get attention.
