I’ll get straight to the point: changing your environment can seriously boost your creativity and output. If you’re struggling to focus, get things done or scale your business, changing up where you’re trying to work could very well be the solution to your problem.

Fun and games aside the name of the blog series is called Remote in Albany which means it’s time to actually talk about working remote in my new dwellings. I gotta eat and maintain my wine budget friends! Here are a couple of things I discovered while starting to find my working routine in this new city during this particular time. I hope some of these things to note are helpful to you if you are planning on working remote soon yourself.

This weekend was a good weekend to finally be able to go outside. With quarantine over, there was no excuse to have a completely quiet few days off. The sun was out and no clouds whatsoever. So naturally, Saturday was a good day to shop. After two weeks of plotting where to go, eat, drink, and just be pandemic social I chose to have a long morning in bed, making a hearty breakfast and watch Netflix. A casual way to ease into the summer shopping day as it starts to warm up.

Once or twice a year I invest in doing a photo shoot. It could simply be for the fact that I enjoy getting my picture taken, I'm not afraid to say it! Truly though, it's nice to have a professional get timeless shots of my mug without running and back forth for a camera timer. They are fun to do, plan for and the results are always better than expected.
